Description

Vacuum Pump with Gauge Hand-operated is a very economical way of removing air from tubes or jars for experimental purposes. Vacuum Pump with Gauge, Hand-operated works well with the Coin and Feather Apparatus.Recommended for general laboratory use for applications that do not require high or precise vacuums. This Vacuum Pump, Handheld with Gauge is made of a durable PVC. A vacuum gauge/pressure gauge on the pump makes in both Pascals (0-0.1 MPa) and mm of Hg (0-760 mm Hg) to indicate actual vacuum. The gauge fits a removable cap and quick-release valve to provide vacuum release without dismantling the pump from the line. This Vacuum Pump, Handheld with Gauge is designed for pulling a partial vacuum, of up to 500 mm Hg, on small closed systems of about 725 ml or less. Each squeeze of the pump displaces approximately 15ml in volume, and can be used to create vacuum of 15mm Hg, or air pressure of about 2 atm (standard atmosphere).
